Perry
Villa is located in Perryville in the northwestern part of Cecil
County, Md. at the confluence of the Chesapeake Bay and the
Susquehanna River. Perryville is a quaint town built on a railroading
past and has a colorful colonial history too. Rt. 7, also known as
Broad Street is said to roughly run along the original foot path once
used by the native Americans who once lived in the area. Many notable
Colonial Statesmen traveled through the area on their way to and from
Philadelphia including Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Lafayette, and
Rochambeau. Points of interest include Rogers Tavern, Perryville
Station (MARC train stop) and the Perry Point VA Medical
Installation.
